We are a leading Tea manufacturer seeking an experienced Accountant to join our team as Assistant Manager Accounts. As Accountant, you will play a critical role in managing our Factory’s filancial operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting and driving business growth. You will report to General Manager
Position Summary
The management of Pfunda Tea Company is seeking a dedicated and motivated Accountant to join our team. In this role, he/she will be responsible for overseeing and supporting the company’s financial operations to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a proactive attitude, strong analytical and communication skills, and a commitment to achieving outstanding results.
Key Responsibilities:
– Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including cost accounting, inventory management and variance analysis.
– Manage factory ledger accounts, ensure accurate financial data entry and perform account reconciliations.
– Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks and opportunities for improvement.
– Develop and implement financial processes and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy.
– Collaborate with the production team to ensure accurate costing and inventory management.
– Ensure compliance with financial regulations, laws and Company policies.
– Perform all tax and other statutory declarations and payments on time.
– Review the Company’s payroll to avoid discrepancies.
– Perform all banks reconciliations and treasury management, such as payment and others.
– Update the Assets register and Asset management-related works.
– Overview the audit process and end year closing.
– Performs other works assigned by the management.
Requirements
– Bachelors’ degree in accounting or related field.
– Professional (CPA, ACCA, or equivalent) preferred but not a must.
– 5 years of experience in Factory accounting or manufacturing environment.
– Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
– Fluent in English.
